About My Journey
I am a retired Technical Application Specialist diving into the wonderful world of glass art.
My love for working with glass started while attending a mosaic glass class at the local community college. It was the escape and tranquility of breaking glass and putting it back together again that drew me in.
Next, while attending stained glass classes, glass took on a whole new meaning for me. I was captivated by the process of assembling stained glass artwork. The colors and the reflective properties of stained are mesmerizing.
Finally, I attended the Glass Craft Expo in Las Vegas. What a fantastic event for glass enthusiasts. From learning new techniques to discovering different products used to make glass art, in addition to the truly amazing people I meet. I felt so inspired and invigorated that I ended up coming home with a 17” kiln.
On to the journey of glass fusing.
